Dr. Leonard Friedman is Board Certified in Ophthalmology and has been in active practice for over 20 years. He is a graduate of George Washington University Medical School and did his Ophthalmology residency at the Washington National Eye Center at the Washington Hospital Center where he is a Senior Attending Surgeon and Clinical Instructor. He has performed thousands of complicated eye surgeries including cataract, glaucoma and refractive surgery. He has been performing Laser Vision Correction since it was approved for use in the United States. For the last 18 months he has been performing almost exclusively Lasik for Myopia, Hyperopia and Astigmatism. He is also active in teaching PRK and Lasik to new surgeons.
Dr. Friedman was listed in the February 2000 issue of Washingtonian Magazine as one of the Top Ten Lasik surgeons in the Washington Metropolitan Area.
