I just has laser surgury and this is the second day. My numbers before surgury were as follows.
OD 539 12 46.37@178 43.62@88
OS 544 12 45.62@176 44.25@86
The numbers that I am familiar with was 20/80 with astigmatism. My doctor said that was really bad. I didn't think so. I still could function without glasses. Meaning general walking around the house or swimming, but when it came to reading, watching TV or driving, glasses were a must.
I guess what I would like to know based on the numbers, how long does it usually take to get this blurry vision to stabilize and become more clearer specifically at longer distances? For your information, patterns, like road signs and detailed shapes of buildings I can make out very good. The only problem, now, is that I can't read the words, on green street signs until I am approximately (best guess here:)) 50 feet or less away.

Oh, and by the way. I used the VISX STAR Excimer Laser System from the Eye Center of Texas.
