I was wondering if anyone could help me with a question regarding contact lenses and astigmatism. I just had an eye exam and the doctor said my astigmatism isn't bad enough to get toric lenses. He said I had a -50 in one eye and a -75 in the other. I can't see well with the lenses he prescibed me. If I have astigmatism(no matter what the severity) why wouldn't a doctor give me toric lenses?

Astigmatism makes your effective refractive error either slightly mypoic or slightly hyperopic, depending on sign. Toric lenses can correct this better than any other contact lense. If he wont prescribe them, go to another OD for a second opinion. Generally glasses do a slightly better job correcting mixed astig scripts than contacts. What is your script for glasses versus contacts?

Get the Eyes corrected by EYE yoga, I am currently doing the EYE yoga, which is the 1st form of yoga!
Earlier i used to wear -3.0 -1.5X90,
now it is -1.0 -1.0X90, Astigmatism takes long time to get corrected naturally. its the effect of yoga only of 45 DAYS ..

is this some form of eye exercise? I would love to further reduce my myopia and eliminate what little astigmastim I have! Can you tell me how it works and what exercises you did?
