i had lasik about 4 days ago, and i had a pretty severe astigmatism. i can read, but everything else seems very blurry still. i still feel like i need to put my glasses back on. will this get better? how long will it take to clear up, and how effective is lasik with asigmatism? i thought i had done all the research pre-surgery, but am now wondering if it wasn't a mistake.

How are your eyes now?
I had a very severe astigmatism as well (-6 in both eyes). Had Lasik in November and have just had an enhancement and things are still blurry for me.
Its been 4 weeks since my enhancement and I can see close up well but distance is blurry (double vision in the one eye). My astigmatism is now -0.5 in both eyes yet I am really struggling to see.
Any advice?

since you still have a residual pescription and the fact you cant see clearly past 3 feet indicates you may have -1 to -1.5 diopters myopia as well. Your -6 astigmastim was out of the range lasik can treat so a residual pescription was expected. Still your vision improved big time and your dependancy on glasses greatly reduced.
