Hi, Firstly many thanks to all the Doctors for being around in our hour of trouble, especially to Dr W.B. Trattler for his patiance in answering my panic stricken "early" days postings !!! Today i'm at week 6 for farsighted corection with slight astigmatism Right +4.00 Sphere, -0.75 Cyl, 150.0 Axis, Left eye +3.75 Sphere, -0.75 Cyl, 10.0 Axis. This Wednesday i attend what will be my second check up, at my first the opthalmic tech was quite pleased with my progress, slight over correction as expected, but my left eye was and is'nt as good as my right but because it was early days and my knowledge of the healing process was basically "nil" i could'nt explain in words apart from it being slightly more blurry. After spending quite some time around here now my symptoms for my left eye are as follows, slight double vision at distance mainly road/safety signs but not side to side more top to top, or may i say objects appear "stretched" not a great deal but enough for distortion to take place, but if i "squint" or slightly close my eye it becomes clearer. After reading up on Lasik induced astigmatism i'm certain this is what i'm experiancing. I am aware that i'm still at quite early days in my recovery but the questions i'm asking are will this decrease in time ? or am i stuck with it ? also if i am at what stage if any can i think of enhancement ? Well thats all, many, many thanks again you guys for being around you've given me many nights peaceful sleep just knowing what i'm going through. I am very upset that all my knowledge is from these boards and not my clinic, the answers i get from them are really open ended, but this i will put to rest on Wednesday at my exam.

Tony.
