I recently had Lasik (wavefron/customevue) surgery done 2 weeks ago. My VA is 20/15 OD and 20/30 OS. After refracting my eye, it shows I have -1.00cyl left in OS. I'm experiencing weird peripheral images which is hard to explain. I took a corneal topography and it showed positive for keratoconus for I-S and it shows I have irregular astigmatism. My concern is, will the wavefront retreatment be able to fix this problem?

Keratoconus is a contraindication for LASIK, or more LASIK as the case may be.

was KC spotted before lasik? Lasik will make it worse. You may want to look into intacs to relieve KC and take care of that -1

I never had keratoconus before my lasik surgery and I was told by my doctor that the positive keratoconus showing up on my corneal topography was artificial.

The Orbscan has a habit of showing false keratoconus positives both before and after refractive surgery. A second orbscan and a Pentacam may be helpful in determing what is actually happening.
