I had the Lasik proceedure almost 4 months ago. I seem to have difficulty seeing clearly in dim light (indoor or dusk). I was -7 nearsighted and -2 astigmatic. I also have been corrected for monovision. There's no doubt my vision is much improved, but I still can't see well in low light. I also see less detail in the 4 to 8 foot range. Will this situation improve with time or should it be correctable? It wasn't a side effect I was expecting. My doctor didn't seem concerned at my 3 month followup.

For many people with monovision, dim settings can be troublesome. The only way to correct it is to make both eyes for distance, but then you all of your near.
Your loss of mid-range vision may be a result of the degree of monovision correction you have.
Unfortunately, at some point in all of our lives, we end up compromising some aspect of our vision...it is a normal yet somewhat annoying process for everybody.
Good Luck, Dean Hu
