looking for suggestions for custom sugery to fix irregular astigmatism. On 7/14/99 I had lasik, the procedure left irregular astigmatism in my left eye and under correction in my right. I live near the US Canadian border near Detroit Michigan. I have contacted Visx about CAP but it has not been approved in the states yet. I would apprteciate any info on the subject and if Canada is doing this type of custom surgery in any of the Windsor clinics. I would like to know the price of this service. Thank you.

We, in the states, are eagerly waiting for CAP, custom ablation, from VISX. There is no other surgical treatment for irregular astigmatism until CAP becomes available.
