I have a minimal amount of irregular astigmatism in my right eye, enough to cause me some problems with reading ( and I love reading). I do have a pair of glasses but of course the problems still persist. I know that this can not be corrected with glasses or contacs so what if anything can be done. I'm seeing double vision on the right and I'm also 37. I miss reading . Please any response would be helpful docs. Thank you.

Rigid gas permeable lenses can help with some irregular astigmatism (fluid fills in under the lens and so creates a "smooth" cornea surface, as I understand it), if you are contact lense tolerant. Maybe ask your doctor about this option. Also, if reading is the problem, then it may be you also are somewhat farsighted now after your surgery. What is your refraction? If that is the case, then an enhancement may help....
I mostly would recommend getting a second (and third)opinion. It might cost $50-250 per apt. but would help give you a diagnosis from different drs. perspectives and based on different equipment, calibrations, etc.
