My Surgery was on 1/5/00. I was -5.51 and -6.00 with no Astigmatism. The Dr. said that the surgery went perfect. At one week post surgery I was 20/25 in each eye. My right eye is perfect and the dryness that many seem to complain about is mostly nonexistent yet my left eye seems to still be a bit blurry with a slight double vision like appearance most notable when looking at certain images such as neon/LED lights. It also seems that if I close my right eye and look at a number/sign etc. I have to focus a half second and then the image comes in. Also my left eyelid sometimes will have a twitch (this began about 10 days ago. At my one week follow-up the Dr. doing the exam said he saw one epithelial cell in one eye and two in the other but nothing to worry about and that the left eye just needs a little more time to catch up with the right. It is now three weeks, can I expect the left eye to "catch up" or would enhancements seem probable. Also, what about the twitchy eyelid? Is this related?

Thank you in advance for your response.

Kind Regards,

Bruce

I may have incorrectly described my message above as double vision. I am not seeing necessarily two images side by side rather the same image is just offset a little to the side and mainly occurs at a distance and in dim or dark light. Perhaps double vision and ghosting mean two different things???

You likely have some astigmatism causing this effect. Astigmatism can sometimes be induced by laser. If things don't clear up, then possibly an enhancement will help.
Twitchy eyelids would be unrelated to surgery. The most common association is stress. It will get better on its own.

Good Luck, Dean Hu
