I had a bilateral Wavefront Lasik with the Wavelight laser 11 days ago. I was so impressed with my surgeon that I opted to be part of the study he is currently undertaking with the Wavelight. Naturally, I have very few people to compare notes with and would welcome enquiries from anybody wanting to know how I am getting on. I had this done in Ireland, where I live. My near vision is fine, but a recent test has shown some degree of undercorrectio in my right non-dominant eye. Maybe I am still in the healing process, but I want my distance vision to be as good as my near vision. Also, I want to know why there is such a noticeable improvement in vision when I put in my Refresh drops. Can this almost perfect vision ever be achieved permantly - Why does it happen anyway? Thanks

I had lasik wavefront in London done 19 days ago. I am very pleased with my vision, but am the same as you! my right non dominant eye seems to fluctuate through the day. Only when i cover my dominant eye and concentrate does it focus properly after a while. It is still early days and have been told by others that the higher the prescription the longer the healing. I was -7.25 and -6.75. People with similar prescriptions said it took them up to 2 months to settle. So I presume it is the healing process and time will tell.
What was your prescription?
Keep in contact!

I am curious! Let's keep in contact if at all possible. I was -7.25 in my right, -5.25 in my left.
My left eye sees 20/20+2, right eye sees 20/30+2. I had my surgery done 6 weeks ago with CUSTOMCORNEA.

I experience some halos at night and also some slight ghosting with small lights... which seems to be fluctuating. When I put drops in, it goes away.. and my vision is clearer.

CAN WE SWAP E-MAILS?
