I have been considered an ideal candidate for Custom Laser Vision Correction using the VISX S4 excimer laser. I am having trouble finding out the advantages of custom surgery over the standard Lasik procedures. It is a substantial cost increase and, I would like to be sure that the advantages/results outweight the uncertainty. Thank you in advance for any comments and or feedback.
