I had lasik eye surgery approx. 7 mo ago and now I am expereiencing eye pain. Can this be from the surgery? Or could this be caused by dry eyes? It is to the point where I am taking 2 tylenols 3 times a day...without much relief. I have had no lose of vision so I am not sure if I should see my doctor.

Of course you should see your doctor. There is no need to be in pain or to be guessing why you are in pain. Although it is unlikely that the problem is related to your LASIK, but it might be. Schedule an appointment with your LASIK surgeon and let him determine if the cause is related to your eyes. Hopefully, it will be something simple.

What do you mean, "the eye pain is probably not caused by the Lasik?" I got Lasik 4 monthes ago and I have eye pain all the time in my right eye. I am pretty sure it is caused by dry eye, but I think it might also get worse when I use certain eye drops. I will see a specialist next week. Right now my left eye is almost perfect and my right eye is blurry and painful. I feel that getting this surgery done was the worst mistake of my life. I will let you know if it gets better.

Hi Andrew
I have been experiencing similar problems. I got Lasik done 10 months ago and right now my left eye seems fine but my right eye is very painful. Also i have blurry vision. Could this be due to dry eyes. I do have very very dry eyes.
Also I have strong haloes, starbusts and glares in the night which have increased after the pain.
