I am posting in this forum as I realize this is more appropriate than the Main Forum where I originally posted. -

I had LASIK in June 2003. After my surgery I had 20/20. (My prescription prior was -7). I got pregnant in November 2003 and ever since then (even after childbirth and breastfeeding) my vision is regressing. Went to 20/30, 20/40 and am today 20/50. My doctor is considering an enhancement but wants to make sure that my vision is stabilized.
Over the past 2 years I have been a heavy user of drops for dry eye. At my check up yesterday, my doc prescribed me -1 glasses and said I didn't need the drops anymore as my eyes don't appear to be dry. Why is it then, that when I use the drops my vision becomes more crisp and focused? I guess I just want to be sure that it really is my prescription changing and that my poor vision isn't a result of dry eye which may be corrected in some other manner. Is there any way for me to be sure?
