Hi,
I had Lasik yesterday and have just returned from my 1st aftercare appointment.
The Doc said my left eye is dry and I need to increase the amount of 'fake tear' drops.
Once every 30-45 mins apparently.
The right eye seems ok. Both are 20/20 by the way.
The Doc said a wrinkle could happen if don't use more of the drops.
As I said, the vision in both eyes is spot on - how concerned should I be about the left one being dry and the possibility of a flap wrinkle?
And is their any other general advice?
Thanks

Is almost a year by now since I had lassik, I've had problems with my left eye for about 9 months but in july I began using SYSTANE from Alcon labs and all my problems dissapeared, I use one drop at night and one every morning too and that was a big relief, now i just feel dry eye when i forgot to use the drop for 2 days aprox.
That worked for me, perhaps may work for you as well.

Temporary LASIK induced dry eyes is a known concern and needs to be managed to achieve the best possible outcome. We have a detailed article on LASIK and dry eye that includes several treatment techniques.

Dryness-wise both eyes are now 'normal' for post-lasik.
I'm now using viscotears of a day along with normal refresh drops and of a night - which has definately helped.
