I had Lasik 4 days ago. I have been using Tear Drops frequently but I missed a five hour period yesterday when I was outside. This morning both eyes were red with a buring sensation. How much of a concern is this and does it potentially have longer term implications? many thanks!

You will want to notifiy your doctor if you continue to have these problems after you resume regular use of preservative-free artificial tears.

Untreated LASIK induced temporary dry eyes will slow healing, induced temporary irregularities in the cornea, and generally provide vision inferior to an eye that is appropriately moist.
