I had lasik in April 04, witno no dry eye. November 04 through April 05 I had CMF chemotherapy. The 2nd month I developed very dry eyes. They're dry and then they start watering and dry out 15 minutes later again, only to start watering again. It's been ongoing still today. The opthalmologist says this was caused by the Lasik and not the chemo. I've tried bottom plugs, and all kinds of drops, many times a day. My eyes are a mess with all the drops and tears. Is this a different kind of dry eye, and should be treate treated the same?
