Am a bit upset about this, what he told me was going to correct for and what he did are two different things... While in the Operating room I heardnumbers being ratlled off -3.825 and -3.62, He orginally said the correction factor was to be -4.25 and -4... I asked at the time of surgury, the response "trust me" it will be fine...
threee months later, I am left with a good clean flap and well healed, just a -1.25 off on the left eye and -1 off on the right. At leaset this is what my surgen sez. I want an enhancement, As I still require glasses and contacts. A month after the surgery he said -.75 for each eye. Now he sez he will only do one eye, the right one at a -1.
I don't want monovision, and do not have an issue wth farsitgthness or don not mind wearing reading glasses in the future. I told him this... orginally and yet again... Additionally, he did not dialate my eyes to ensure the most accurate reading possible... I questioned this... the response, I am the doctor you are the paitent..."trust me' . Well, I don't and surgery is scheduled for a week from now...
I went home and tried my contact lenses in just the right eye... making a .75 difference between the two... Can't stand it ! Can not even imagine a full -1.25 difference between both eyes...
Now what and advice, recomendations?

Does his clinic guarantee enhancements? How well do you see with either eye right now? How long has it been? Make sure to wait at least 3 months before enhancement. If you are approaching 40, then you may not even want the enhancement, your residual myopia will delay the need for reading glasses. In my opinion, I belive its better to leave the residual myopia, you shouldnt need glasses period if you are only .75 diopters!
