Hello. I have a question regarding getting a lasik enhancement. I had lasik done exactly 4 months ago today. My eyes are 20/25 still with astigmatism and i see a lot of starbursting at night, due to the astigmatism, according to my dr. Therefore, he has told me he would like to do an ehancement. I am very nervous. I had decided to put it off last time I saw him b/c he told me that they use a scalpel and that kind of scared me.

To make a long story short, I am wondering if anyone can tell me about their experience with enhancement, e.g., did it hurt? I did not feel anything when they first did lasik but after hearing how they do the enhancement of lifting the flap, that freaked me out.

Any news would help.

Thanks.

I am not a doctor but if you do decide to enhance, definately only do one eye and see how it turns out. 20/25 is better than what some people see *with* glasses. However I understand it doesnt measure night vision. Hows your vision in the day? Also what residual pescription do you have
