I had lasik 4/2002 near sighted OD -300 -100 x 110 OS -300 -50 x 70 OU 20/225 1 year pro-op OD 20/15 OS 20/12.5 needless to say I was very pleased. The right eye still gave me problems at night halos etc. No biggy. I recommended an MD friend to get lasik and found through him I could get high order correction. Since I'm at that age my eye doc recommended OD only for monovision since I was becoming more farsighted. I got the relasik. He lifted the old flap expertly, laser on laser off, test, drops, flap down, smoothing, all done. More post-op pain than 1st time but expected as per MD. But my vision OD is crap 2 weeks out, is the healing process different? I'm not concerned about the burning or rather tearing, is there anyway to predict how long before my vision gets better. Is the poor vision due to corneal swelling or uneven swelling? Help please!
