After LASIK surgery in August, one of my eyes developed a mild case of DLK, which was treated with Pred Forte. It is now clear, but according to my physician, has left a flat spot on my cornea which is causing blurred vision and ghost images. I am told the treatment for this is to wear a contact lens in that eye, which I am having a hard time accepting the thought of, since my other eye ended up 20/20. Is there any kind of enhancement surgery to correct this problem?

Whether or not additional surgery would be appropriate depends upon the exact location, size, and nature of the "flat spot" on your cornea. You also probably have an elevated possibility of develping DLK again.
I recommend you be evaluated by a corneal specialist before more surgery. If you need a recommendation, you may contact me at glenn dot hagele at usaeyes dot org.
