I had Lasek surgery in Novemeber 2005 and was left with over corrected vision in both eyes. I had astigmatism and had done Lasek and wavefront.
An enhancement was advised and I was booked for the 23rd Jan 2006.
During the preop examination the nurse managed to indent my right eye with the probe which is used to measure corneal thickness with the result that a accurate prescription reading could not be obtained of the right eye and the surgery had to be postponed until the next day.
I had enhancement done on the 24th January and after 5 days when it was time to remove the bandage contact lens, only the left one could be removed as the right eye had not healed and the lens had to be left on an additional two days. Subsequently the bandage lens in the right eye was also removed and though three days have passed the vision is still very unclear. It feels as if I am looking through a very dirty glass or contact lens. Could this be a result of the probe indentation or is it normal ? Even with squinting and straining I cannot get the vision in the right eye to improve. Should I wait a few days more before panicking. Can someone by experience let me know what they feel this could be. Any solutions ? The vision in the left eye has improved tremendously after the enhancement.
