I am 44 and had custom lasik done in Oct. 2005. I had astigmatism and was very nearsighted. While my visition was corrected significantly I still need glasses to see in alls situations. I healed well and no post op complications. My surgeon has recommended enhancements and feels my vision can be corrected so I am able to see without glasses or contacts. The local eye doctor I see has discouraged enhancements as he states he feels my eyes will change in future. His associate(another eye doctor) has encouraged me to do the enhancements and feels they are safe. I have tried contacts numerous times and just can't tolerate them. I yearn to be "free" of the glasses but want to base decision for enhancements on safety and efficacy. Because the doctors opinions vary I don't know what to do. Any advice would be appreciated.
