I had lasik procedure done the end of February. The left eye was done with no problem....the right eye was another story! While undergoing the procedure I had a different "light" sensation in the right eye. Also something (an instrument of some sorts) was dropped onto my neck, shoulder area. A couple minutes later is when the doctor said he could not continue because of a flap problem, which was later explained as a "buttonhole". He said I had to wait three months to re-do procedure. Since that time I have been wearing a contact lens in the right eye which started as a +2.25 and now in a +4.25. The eye is getting worse with a feeling something is "in the way" of my eyesight at all times. The doctor started me on Alphaghan drops to see if it would clear the blurriness...seemed to make it worse. Now I have been informed the eye is not ready and have put off the procedure for another 3-4 months. Instead of getting better, things seem to be getting progressively worse! What should I ask or what should I expect? Is this normal for a "buttonhole". I am really scared!
