I had my LASIK procedure about 2 weeks ago. I'm told that there are glands in the eyelids that produce oils and that it looks as if some of this oil got underneath the flap. I'm also told that this will probably go away on its own, that the substance will just be absorbed by my body. Can anyone tell me if they've heard of this? Is it the same as epithelial ingrowth? If it doesn't go away how is it treated?
