I am 5months after LASIK, recently, I changed my work which involve heavy eye use and face computer. Could this cause regression? As I have done the LASIK, any other risks??

Thanks so much!!!

Heavy computer use will often cause the patient to not blink as often. This leads to exacerbation of dry eyes often associated with LASIK. Dry eyes can cause several minor to significant problems after surgery, but can normally be accommodated with preservative-free eye drops and other methods.

If you have a good eyes hydration regime, computer use should not make any difference regarding regression. If you originally had over 6.00 diopters myopic (nearsighted) vision, or over about 2.50 diopters hyperopic (farsighted) vision, then regression would be normal.

I am already 5 month post LASIK, and I was -10.
Does regression relate to the heavy eye use?
Is there any way I can prevent it?

Many Thanks!!!
