I had lasik 5 days ago. Doctor performed CustomCornea using LadarVision system. My vision pre-lasik was something around 20/200 with astigmatism in one eye. Pupil size was measured just above 6.5mm. I do not remember all the other measurements taken. Pre-Lasik exams were very thorough with no salesman-like pressure whatsoever. Procedure went well but my eyes were extremely sore for first 2 hours afterwards. After a few hours of sleep, my eyes felt much better. The day after, my vision was 20/20. Since then, driving at night I have noticed mild to moderate halos. These halos are more annoying than anything else. They have not been a concern from a driving safety standpoint. My question is, should I expect these halos to diminish over time? If so, how long? I have my next appointment with my eye doctor in 3 weeks at which point I wish to discuss the halos if they are still an issue. Overall, I have been very pleased with my lasik doctor and his staff.

I am just trying to get some feedback from people 6 months out from surgery or more that had halos or starburst. I had Lasik 3 days ago and have major starburst and halos and am trying to figure out what to expect now.
