I had my lasik done at dr cohen office in montreal with b&l 217c over a year ago, unlike
doctors in the usa, they assured me my results would be excellant and any night vision halos would go away with in a few weeks. My vision is great in the day time, but at night I still have halos and a little starburst with bright lights.
Should I learn to live with it for the rest of my life? its quite annoying... Funny how I have read all the statistics and how rare night vision problems are with the b&l laser and the fda reports. When I ask all my co-workers and friends, every single one of them has some sort of night vision side effect from lasik, all of which had it done with the b&l 217c. I have seen my optometrist, is it true there is no fix for halos? my optic zones were 6.3 & 6.2, tx zones were 3mm plus. pre-op I was at -1.25-0.50x007 and -1.50-0.50x175. Today I'm still told I have 20/20 OU. Also I suffer from severe dry eyes and I'm currently on restasis for the past 90 days, not sure how long I should stay on it...
thanks in advance!
James
