I called my Lasik Plus customer service after reading many posts about people have either Halos or starbursts day or night. I spoke with a representive that had the lasik procedure done 2 years ago. He said there are 3 pupil sizes. Low Medium and High. They're are different machines your supposed to use regarding the size of your pupil. He stated the higher your pupil the more money there is to pay. Some doctors are careless and put you on the wrong machine!!! I have a medium size so to put me on the low or Higher maching would be a huge mistake and would cause halo's and Starbursts... This is at least what I was told. I was also told it's not common to need enhancements and the percentage of it is very small.. I believe it was 3 percent.
If any Doctors would like to comment on this please do!!

from my research, the most important thing is your ablation zone not be smaller than your pupil. Thus if your pupil is a huge 8mm youd need an ablation zone this big or risk halos, glare, starbursts.
