Hi guys
It's my first post and I'm glad to find this board.
After a very long search on the net I found some answers to my problem (starburst)on your good board. So I bought alphagan 0.2% eyedrops and tried it for the first time. Wow, you cannot imagine what I saw, my starburst disappeared to 90%. Something which I didn't experienced in 12 years since I had my RK in 1993.
So I have some questions:
1- I need these drops daily because I'm a taxi driver and I want to work night shift ( I used to work day time because of my problem). alphagan tends to loose its effect by time as I understood so what to do? here comes my second question,
2- Pilocarpine is associated with retinal depatchment, but how long would be the period av using this drug to risk having this problem?
By the way when I got my RK, my doctor told me at that time that I risking having retinal depatchment in about 15 years and treated the retina in both eyes with laser.
Can I use pilocarpine in case alphagan stops giving the disered effekt of decreasing my VERY LARGE pupil ( at low light it covers 80% of my coloured part of my eye).
I hope you'll give me some advice.
