I did my initial Lasik surgery back in 09/2001. I recently did an enhancement surgery on my right eye on 06/06/2001 on Wednesday. The day after the surgery I notice my distance vision has improved quite a bit, but my near vision is extremely blurry. I first thought it is still too early to tell. On Friday night before I went to bed, I felt a little irritation on my right eye. I woke up the next day, the eyelid on my right eye is all swelling and puffy. I actually felt a little lump on the right eyelid. Is this an infection? I called the place where I have the surgery done and they have a customer representative telling me that this is part of the healing process and I have nothing to worry about.

It is now exactly a week after my enhancement surgery, my near vision is still very blurry on my right eye. I don’t think it would improve any better. The lump at my right eyelid still exists. Every time I blink my right eye, I felt a little painful. I just want to ask the doctors here what’s going on with my right eye? Is it an infection? Why is my near vision so blurry? Can anyone recommend a good Lasik doctor in the New York City area to help me? I don’t think I can wait anymore before it gets too bad. HELP! FAST!
