I had lasik surgery one week ago. My left eye has been taking longer to heal. My physician told me that i was over medicating on my steroid and antibiotic drops and now have this really dry chaffing on the epithelium on the cornea.
Has anyone heard of this happening, and how is your eye sight today as a result???
I stopped the drops on Tuesday and it is Wednesday today. I have been using "tear again" gel drops every hour along with artifial tears when needed.
When i went back today the left eye is improving but now there is a spot on my right eye.
I would really like to know if anyone else has experienced this???

Yesterday i went back to were I had the surgery done. The doctor there told me that I have severely
dry eyes..she inserted some nasal plugs and gave me some night ointment and told me to use bion tears
during the day. What a relief to know what is wrong and know that things are going to work out in time.
