I suffer from a mild form of keratoconus and have an astigmatism. Four weeks ago I had intacs fitted and my vision has improved greatly, it is now 60%. The professor that carried out the procedure has told me that my astigmatism is preventing my sight from being 100%.
The last time I went for a consultation he said that he would like to get rid of the astigmatism (which is -1.5) with a small laser . Is this possible? I have however found information that states that this is not allowed by strict guidelines.
