How could this happen? The Visx "Operative Report" from my LASIK showns a surgeon's name different than the one I thought did the surgery. The surgeon said it was a typo!!! Isn't the data that goes into the laser checked and rechecked and recheched for accuracy?

Don't worry about this. The improtant numbers are checked by the techs and the surgeon. At times, they miss the fact it is a new surgeon as this appears on a different portion of the data entry screen. It has happened to all of us and has nothing to do with your outcome.
