Hello. I wanted to get some advice from past patients and doctors.
My prescriptions are as follows:
R: -8 with .75 astigmatism
L: -8 with .5 astigmatism
Thickness of cornea is about 570 in both eyes, and 6.5 pupil size.
I was wondering if Nidek is safe for me to go. I've been informed that VISX will remove about 14microns of corneal tissues per diaopters. Will Nidek remove about the same?
The reason I ask is that VISX will cost about $2000 more over Nidek. Will the end results be about the same? I really don't want to deal with night vision problems.
