I would like to know if I am a good candidate for VISX. My prescription while dilated with cycloflash (not sure of spelling) is :
R -6.75-2.5x96 (corrected to 20/25)
L -8.25-2.5x80 (corrected to 20/25)
My pupils dilate to 6mm in dim light.
My corneas measure 540 microns.
I took a tear test. It was 15.
I would REALLY appreciate some reasurrance if it is warranted. Thank you.

Based on the information provided, you would be a candidate for LASIK. If you weren't a little nervious, I'd be worried about you. Your surgeon might offer you a relaxing pill if needed before your surgery. Be sure all of your questions have been answered before surgery ... that's usually the best way of being reassurred.
