I'm 23 years old, near-sighted and little astigmatism on the left eye. Left eye is 1.75, right is 3.0. I asked the a few doctors, and they said my eyes were stable, plenty of tissue for surgery. Nevertheless, the doctors told me I have dry eyes. I was wondering if there is a big chance that my eyes would regress after the lasik surgery. In addition, I'm heading toward medical school, and there is a lot of reading. So will you please give me a head up? Should I even do lasik since my eyes are kind of okay? the only thing I worry about is regression.
Thanks :O)

With such a low refractive error, regression is not going to be an issue. What will happen is that your eyes are going to continue to change at the same rate whether you have surgery or not. At around age 40 you will need reading glasses, at around age 65 you will develop cataracts, and you can have changes in refractive error in between.
If you have a history of dry eyes, you need to investigate the surface ablation techniques of PRK, LASEK, or Epi-LASIK rather than traditional LASIK or even IntraLASIK. Also, don't have any surgery unless the dry eyes are treated and manged first.
Whether or not the risk is worth the potential benefit only you can decide after discussion with your doctor.
