I'm scheduled to have the surgery on June 21st. I knew that I shouldn't have the surgery if I'm pregnant, which I'm not, but I wasn't aware that birth control would play a role in it too. I've been on birth control for 5 years. I mentioned that to my Dr. as well. My prescription is -3.50 in the left and -1.50 in the right eye with no astigmatism. What is the risk of the surgery if I'm on the pill?
