My wife found out today she might be pregnant. Today is Friday and she is scheduled to have her lasik Tuesday. should she go ahead with the surgery and get a "touch up" should her eyes change? she is very excited about getting lasik and will be devistated if she has to put it off for a year or so.

I always heard that if you are pregnant you should not get Lasik. Ask you doctor before she goes.

No, your wife should not have Lasik while she is pregnant or nursing.
Not only can the hormones play havoc on her refractive error, if something goes awry with surgery the medications necessary to resolve the problem may be detrimental to the child. Why have a surgery when if everything goes well, you will need to do it again later? Lasik is elective. Lasik during pregnancy is simply is not worth the risk.
And congratulations!
