Hi,
I have been having some pain in my left eye which is around the area deep to the temple. I wear contact lenses sensably and have done for 10 years now. The pain causes headaches and affects my study. I saw my optometrist incase it was a script change, and he said the script is fine, however on applying some coloured dye, he believes he found some slight corneal warpage similar to shrink wrap like wrinkles in the painful eye. He hasn't an explanation for them and is baffled as to why they are only in one eye. He has asked me to wait about a month and then go to a colleague to examine it again.

The only symptoms are the headache like tension pain which varies to sore timing. I have been planning on getting some form of laser surgery in December but am worried that I may not be ever able to do so, and possibly not wear contacts again, and without any further information from my optometrist it will be a nervous month of waiting for the next exam.

Has anyone heard of this before or anything similar?
