I just finished my pre check appointment. They said i have -4.25 with .75 astigmatism and -1.5 with .75 astigmatism. pupil size is 7.5 mm

They told me with my pupil size i needed to do wavefront... which seemed like what everyone recomends anyway and that i would be able to get to 20/20 either first try or with a follow up procedure ( no extra cost ) The package offered to me was $1700/eye with lifetime "acuity" (adjustments or follow ups as i understand).

The Doctors name is David Aymond and they use a "customvue laser".

HI Scott - my pupil size is 7.9 & 8.0 mm and I just had standard lasik in both eyes last Friday. I was given a "light to moderate" recommendation for Wavefront (aka custom lasik) and on the day of surgery the surgeon's note on my file said Wavefront was best, however I chose not to get it as it's just out of my price range. The day following surgery my eyes are 20/15 and 20/20. Before surgery was -5.00 and -3.75 with a slight astigmatism in right eye. The only thing I've noticed is that at night I have halos around street lights and head lights on cars. I am told this will most likely go away once I'm done healing but it also might not. Good luck whichever procedure you do.
