I am scheduled to get LASIK done in a week and am starting to second guess my decision. Wondering what others would do.
I have large pupils, 8mm and am -8.5 in each eye. My corneas are not thick enough to have custom Lasik so they are using the traditional. Should I even be considering doing this.
I've been wanting this done for a long time but not sure if its just too risky. Any thoughts?
THanks!

Was your surgeon clear on the risks and effects of night vision with huge pupils and high prescription? If your cornea is borderline, you may not have enough for an enhancement to fix regression or any other problem. If you can deal with glasses or contacts, stick with those. Whats your reasons and expectations anyway for lasik? Have you considered PRK instead? If you are second guessing yourself, there is nothing wrong with backing out.
I too, have huge pupils(at least 9mm) which makes me a poor candidate for lasik. My prescription is much lower at -4 but im still leaving things be and waiting to see what the future will bring in technology for big pupils. I am not willing to take the risk with todays technology and compromise my night vision, are you?
