Does anyone know the symptoms of
monovision intolerance? I had CK,
(conductive keratoplasty) done in May, 2004
to help restore my close vision. And I could
NEVER read without readers on after this
procedure, plus my far (distant) vision is
distorted (like looking through a waterfall). My
opthalmologist finally told me, after 8months,
that my brian is just not accepting monovision.
Too bad he didn't trial me with a contact lens
first to determine my monovision tolerance. It
is NOT their standard of practice to determine
one's monovision tolerance before performing
conductive keratoplasty at Maumee Eye Clinic
in Maumee, Ohio, Dr Perozek and Dr Weidaw.
I would like to know if anyone knows what your
vision is like when your brain doesn't accept
monovision. I have heard things like dizziness
and headaches----I don't have this. Thanks,
