If you are presbyopic you are probably nearing the age where you WILL develop cataracts. It may be shortly after your Lasik surgery. Save your money and wait for an interocular lens implant which is covered by many health insurance plans. I learned this the hard way because TLC Laservision doesn't bother to tell their middle aged patients that they will develop cataracts. I either had one they missed or developed one three months post op. I learned a lesson that costs me almost $4000.00. I'm sharing it for free.
Avoid TLC or other assembly line Lasik centers if you are middle age. Go to an opthamoligist who does more than assemble line Lasik surgery. You are more likely to be told the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
