I had surgery 8 weeks ago. I am 43 yrs old, My vision was -1.75 and -3. Now it is -.25 and -.5. My less dominant eye was not corrected 100 percent on purpose. I am now having trouble reading and seeing long distance. My question is will it ever get better over time. I know I have to wait at least 12 weeks before deciding if I want my less dominant eye corrected to perfection. Also my friends who are 40 were corrected to 20/20 from the start and could see perfect from day one. Why was I told at 43 that it would be benefical to delay the process of the need for reading glasses when I never needed them ever?

Was your less-dominant eye -1.75? Because that is what both my eyes were before lasik. I could always read close up, so I only had my right eye done--now it's 20-20, & I can see close up & the computer. Maybe they should have left one of your eyes alone.
