I have had large pupils all my life. My myopia is -9.00 in my left eye and -8.00 CYL -1.25 Axis 90 in my right eye. I have developed a astigmatism in my right eye also. My eyes have always been sensative to light. I am concerned about with night vision problems ( halos, starburst etc...) with the lasik surgery. I don't know what my pupil size is. When the Doctor dialated my eyes for an exam, they will stay dialated for about a week. I can not have the surgery until my vision stabelizes (probably in a year). I am very concerned about long term effects of the lasik surgery with my high myopia and large pupils.

In your experience do you feel I will have problems after the lasik surgery due to my large pupils? What do you advise me to do?

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
