I have large pupils (8 mm) with small astigmatism and low correction in both eyes. I am considering Custom Wavefront Lasik. What is the likelihood I will have worsened night vision problems (I have them to a degree even with glasses)? Is the Alcon Custom Cornea procedure better for me than the VISX CustomVue?

I can't speak for the alcon, but I have large pupils (about 8.5 depending on lighting) and I had custom wavefront lasik using the S4 laser. I believe it had a correction area of 6 with a blend out to 8. My prescription was -2.75 and -3.00 with a 0.25 astigmatism in one eye. I am now about 2 months post op, and haven't had any night vision problems, with the only exception that at night I notice my right eye is not as crisp reading signs as my left. If I pay attention and look for starbursts I see them, but they are very much improved to when I wore glasses.
