I am scheduled for Lasik this Saturday. I had pre-op testing at an office independent of the Laski center. My acuity is 6.75 and 7.0 During that testing the optometrist was concerned re. my large pupil size measuring it at 7.5. He was unable to complete corneal thickness testing, so I scheduled that for the place I am having Lasik done. They completed that today and my corneal thickness was 534 and 533. Then they measured my pupil and said it was 6.5. The room was not completely dark, very dim lighting though. Should I be concerned about the differences in measurements? Thanks!

It will not hurt to have your pupil size checked again. Your naturally dilated pupil size in a low light environment can vary from day to day, even hour to hour. A dark environment for at least 20 minutes would be in order.
Some laser systems measure the pupil size automatically when determining how to reshape the cornea.
