I was very nearsighted. Had RK's done on both eyes, and now I am too
farsighted. My RK's were done in the last 4-5 years. One eye works.
The other (right eye) is so farsighted, I can only see shapes, but cannot
use it for reading at all. I need to wear glasses to use right eye(the
overcorrected eye) It is uncomfortable to have one eye doing all the
work. The doctor's office told me that I now am overcorrected in my
right eye.
Would you recommend correction? What are my chances of correcting, and
what are chances of having scar tissue problem since I had it done
already? How would you have it corrected-what procedure? Who would you
recommend.
I ask the doctor's office who did the RK how many problems their patients
had with the RK's-complications. They don't consider my problem a
problem. Their answer is that their doctor has no problems with any of
his patients. My reply was "What am I"?
A very good doctor. Just disappointed that I have gone with this problem
for so long. I feel it was this way always somewhat. I never could use
both eyes. When I would close my left eye and try to use my right, it
was blurred. When I asked the doctor about this after procedure was
done, he told me he did this so I would have one eye to read with.
However, I only have had one eye to read for near and far-my left eye.
Thank's for your comments.
