I had RK surgery performed on both eyes 5 years ago (age 45). I was pretty near sighted. The first two months or so, my ability to view things in the distance was much improved. Then over the next 12 months both eyes became far sighted and I am back in glasses again.
Is it possible to have LASIK procedure done to correct the RK over-correction??

Yes, it is possible to have LASIK after RK if you have either residual farsightedness or nearsightedness. Search the archives of this forum for previous postings on this subject. I have done a series of several dozen patients who have had previous RK and have had LASIK to correct their residual correction. The results have been very satisfying. Good luck and let us know how things turn out if you decide to go ahead.
